The Comal County Senior Citizens Center will hold the Comal County Music Show on Tuesday, March 16th at the Knights of Columbus Hall in New Braunfels from 7:30pm to 10pm. The Shiner Heritage Quilters will hold a quilt exhibit featuring a quilt depicting da Vinci's "Last Supper", composed of 51,000 half-inch squares.  The exhibit will be held Friday, March 19th from 10am to 4pm and Saturday, March 20th from 9:30am til noon at the First Methodist Church Activity Center in Shiner. The Gonzales VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post 4817 will hold a barbecue cook-off on Saturday, March 20th at the VFW Hall on the Harwood Road. Entries include chicken, brisket, ribs and jackpot beans. $15 per entry, due in by Friday, March 19th at 4pm to Dorothy Voigt at The Gonzales Inquirer. $20 for late entries on the day of the event.
